Dark Matter eLiquid
Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.
Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.
Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

Description
just received an email from a friend, going through a tough moment or two, who is young and needed some momentary strength (while I was out of town), who read the several latest reviews, and moved on due to the "against women and gays" comments you guys left there (ergo, no plan, alone, and distraught). Before she read your reviews, she was distraught but had a "plan" to take some charge-do some research-in a vulnerable moment. This is a gal of high intelligence, youthful, looking to make her own decision, take charge of her happiness--and you guys single handedly destroyed that "plan". At least quote the book right, else you look really foolish. Fact: Of almost 700 pages (pb), only one reference/sentence is to homosexuality (to which the author is referring to an imbalance of some sort in current thinking from a "sticking point" in a past uncomfortable event), and of the several comments the author states about "mothers, wombs, and abortions" the author seems to be again addressing "theoretically" the current discomforts/imbalances we experience based on past uncomfortable events "sticking points". As tolerance is a good Christrian trait, I practice it. But here ladies and gentlemen, may be your answer, as it was mine at the time (just one of God's tools). I worship God, in a huge Christian church, I feel for people in confusion about their futures and in torture alone, and many Dianetics fans have found great logic and insight into themselves and into others which actually supports God and country--would you have anyone sit at home tonight, and shatter their hopes of gaining control over their future, because you misquoted and overdramatized a book you obviously did not fully comprehend?

Summary: "Dianetics is Great, But Get the New Edition!"
The year 2010 marks the Sixtieth year of publication of Dianetics. Clearly, you want the new edition. This entry is Amazon.com's older paperback. Get this one instead: Dianetics: The Modern Science Of Mental Health (English); Or better yet, get the book & audio kit: Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health [With Booklet]; Or get the video presentation of how it works: Dianetics Self-Improvement Package; Dianetics: A Visual Guidebook to the Mind - L. Ron Hubbard.
OK, here's my review. Unlike most of the blatant critics, I've actually read the book and used it. It is a manual that is meant to be used. Use it to help your friends and family. Joining organizations and such is not necessary. Just read the book, and use it to help your friends.
What's new in the new edition? Well, nothing! The publisher didn't change anything in the book itself other than typos and punctuation errors that were introduced by Hermitage House Publishers back in 1950. In comparing the original manuscript and putting those footnotes in the back of the book, enlarging and darkening the font size, it makes for a more comfortable read.
Dianetics is an alternative to psychology and outlines several basic things that can help a person help themselves (thus the phrase "self-help") as well as help others.
Among the chapters in this book we find the following: The Goal of Man; The Dynamic Principle of Existence; The Four Dynamics (a dynamic is a drive upon which life is compartmented); a descriptive graph of survival (which was interesting - I never knew survival was more than "just barely making it" until I read Hubbard's definition); and the discovery and complete anatomy of what Hubbard calls the "Reactive Mind", which commands one to act irrationally against their own wishes and goals. Since I have been known to act irrationally, it's good to see what's causing it and what to do about it.
It's a thick book, 491 pages of actual text, divided into Theory and Practical applications; a 5 page glossary of important terms; a chapter called Dianetics in the 21st Century that brings us up to date from those long-gone days of 1950 (the year Dianetics was published) which has reprints from the LA Star and The Daily News, which did news articles on Hubbard and Dianetics at that time. Lots of photos in this section, too.
It's interesting to see what their view was. And finally, an appendix that briefly lists other self-help books by Hubbard, which are all new 2008 editions!
Oh, and finally, finally, The Editor's Glossary, that gives dictionary definitions to English words as they were used in 1950 as well as specialized Dianetics terms, as they were used at that time of writing. This is real handy and makes reading the book that much more easily read.
It's tough for me not to write a long review on a book that is over 600 pages thick. It has every imaginable area of human relationships clearly delineated and how Dianetics can help problems associated with these: alcoholism, post partum depression, divorces, domestic violence and drug abuse amongst them.
So get this book but use Amazon's latest and greatest 2008 edition of the book, as I've described above. Remember, Dianetics is not Scientology and Dianetics is not a religion. It does not obligate anyone to just pick up a copy and read it. It is also in Tagalog, Spanish, French, German and a few other languages.
Read this book.
PS: Actually my review is well written. It actually covers several chapters from the book and discusses theory without rant or unnecessary criticism. It's sad people grade my review based on their bias against Hubbard rather than on the merits of the review itself. Sad.

Well, you did. The book is an excellent read, even if years between pages. It's not for the speedreader, nor the weak of spirit--it's truly a good "possibility" of even a partial answer to any discomfort one might have, and if I told you it might help someone, anyone, in one little area, would it be worth it? Absolutely. Would anyone chance missing this book? I think not. And to those who look into anything and everything as a possible education along the way, I would strongly urge some open-minded reading here, taking as long as it takes to digest it comfortably. There is immense theoretical value there, written to the common man, seriously similar to modern psychology in many many areas. It deals alot with self-responsibility and insight into navigating social relationships and being a "builder" not a "destroyer", whether it's stuff, or hope, whether it's self or others. This is not a book one should miss, and in the event it's not for you, at least quote the author accurately so that you don't destroy the "research" of another (which is God's plan now, isn't it). A required reading for "builders".
